Hmm.. cow forced me to write a strategy before he would write again=[ I decided to write protoss vs terran because a long time ago I used to think protoss owned terran.. but when I played, I couldn't back up my belief and I lost a few games in this match up because I didn't know how to play it. In fact I was would win more terran vs protoss games than protoss vs terran games. After a while, I changed my mind and was so convinced that terran owned toss. I even told Fenris "TERR>TOSS" and he said "YOURE CRAZY!"
Anyway hehe Fenris was right and after watching some gosu games like Polarbear's and Cow's, I started to learn how to play toss vs terr and then I realised that yea.. toss does own terran hehe^^ Terran just sucks!
After that, for some reason, cow started to think terran owned the game so he started to use terran every game and forced me to pick protoss and I lost a lot but I did learn more. (losing is good for you)
ME pro-obs! Since I lost interest in playing, I have obsed a lot of games and played a few and I see a lot of PvT games where the protoss could have won if only he knew how to play it.. so I hope this will help you win more PvT games because TERRAN MUST DIE! I think most pple know how to play terr vs toss more than toss vs terr cos vultures and tank strat was so trendy.. i myself learned terr vs toss after watching the b_blade guy.. My theory is that if it is popular belief that toss own terr, pple would start learning how to play it and thats y you got many pple who are good at terr vs toss but toss vs terr, everyone thinks its so easy so dont bother to learn it.. HMM.. ok i shut up now.
2 gate dragoons with range (harrass and contain)
Expand to another main and make gates there
Get robo for shuttle and obs
Citadel then archives and support bay
Expand to both naturals while doing drops at his natural/main
stop making dragoons and make mass zlots/DT
keep making more gates all over the place and keep expanding
In PvT, the terran will almost always wall-in then make vultures/tanks. (If he acad rushes, you already win cos ranged dragoons own terran infantry.. plus they are easy to micro)
I like to open with double gateway dragoons and upgrading their range ASAP( I make one or no zealots because they will get owned by vultures). I rally all my troops to his base and attack his wall-in. This is just to pressure him and slow him down. If I manage to destroy a supply depot, it usually means game over^^.
uh, I don't really have a detailed build order, I just make constant probes and I make buildings when I have the money.. (You can also do a fast goon rush, making no zlots and even stopping probes at 12 control to make assim and cycore... but it is more risky)

I scout with the probe that made the pylon. I use it to attack scvs making stuff and try not to lose it. When he completes the wall-in, I use the probe and zealot to attack a supply depot. I put 4 probes on gas and make nonstop dragoons as soon as the cycore is done. I rally them to the wall-in and start doing as much damage as I can. Upgrade range as soon as I have the money.
I try not to lose any troops and usually I will have to retreat when he has a tank out because it will outrange the dragoons b4 they get the range upgrade. I station all my troops a little bit away from the wall-in to create a blockade when he tries to attack or sneak some vultures out. I try to watch the dragoons closely so they don't get baited into mines or siege tanks. This is a critical stage. He will usually attempt to i)attack, ii)sneak some vultures into your base and rape probes or iii)expand.
If he attacks, it will probably be ~3 tanks ~4 vultures ~3 scvs vs your 1 zlot ~5 dragoons Try not to lose your dragoons.. keep them just out of siege range (if he sieges) and make him siege and unsiege all the way to your base to buy time. If he just charges at you, run your dragoons back and forth, they should have the range upgrade by this time so you can pick off some stray vultures or tanks.. also manually target tanks and kill them fast or target mines when they are being laid. You should be able to destroy this super fast containment attempt, so expand^^.
*If things didn't go too well and your goons got whipped to soup by scvs, mines and siege fire, you will get contained=[ Good luck! In a situation like this, I like to say "GG". I will try to hold my ramp while making a robobay for obs, dropping zlots/probes/reavers on tanks or use the shuttle for expanding.. i dunno usually if the terran is gosu, its GG time hehe^^*
If he doesn't do anything yet, usually means he expanded or is going for a fast drop. I stop making dragoons for a while when I have maybe ~6 outside his base and 1-2 by my minerals (because I suspect a drop). When I have $400, I expand. I prefer to expand to another main because it is easier to get contained or tanked if I expand to my natural.

After I expand, I resume production of dragoons while getting a robotics bay and observatory for a shuttle and multiple observers. Then I get a citadel and archives asap. The terran will usually expand as well, I don't bother trying to take his natural because he will have siege tanks to own my goons. But I try not to let him take more than his natural, terran are very hard to stop if they have more than one expansion =[
I always make a pylon then gates at my expansion so I can make troops to defend it when it comes online and so that I can attack the terran from more than one angle. I make a dragoon and then a DT as soon as the gate is done for defense. It is extremely easy for terran to contain you if you make all your gates in your main only so I try to make non-stop troops at both locations. I also make a forge and then I make a cannon at each of my minerals about this time, so I don't have to station troops there and waste control. I start gas at my expansion immediately because I am making many observers and DTs^^
Observers are paramount in this match-up not just so u can see mines, but also you will know when the terran unsieges and starts moving his army to attack you. I place observers all over the map and try to watch the minimap closely for drop attempts and attacks.
It is very important to ambush the terran attack force when it is on the move because he won't have time to lay mines or siege his tanks. . Dts are you best friend in this match up so make a lot of them! Around this time the terran might try to attack you, but delay him until you have Dts. The terran won't be able to attack you if he has not got any science vessels. Send your dt's one at a time until he has no more juice to scan.
Once I have DT tech, I feel more secure and I will expand to both the naturals of the mains while getting a support bay then I will try dropping the terran's expansion with dts and reavers to slow him down. I try to spend as much money as possible, making 15-20 gates. my troops are mostly zlots and dts at this time because they tend to like making mass tanks (which will own your dragoons) and neglecting to make vultures. Just adjust the ratio of my troops to what the terran is making.. if hes making more tanks, I make more zlots and dt, if he making vultures, I get more dragoons and reavers. Chances are, his big mid-game attack was foiled by your Dts and you just continue expanding and getting more gateways and troops so u will overwhelm him eventually.
i dunno man.. basically, this game is about powering.. expand a lot and make a lot of shit, while holding the terran guy back..first u use ranged dragoons, then later use dts.. dont let him expand more than his natural...also making gates AT YOUR EXPANSIONS IS GOOD! attack him while he is moving.. don't wait for him to seige up and make turrets all over b4 you charge his position... Uhh.. counter attacking is good as well... if he has a big bunch of troops dug in outside one of your bases, send your troops from other bases to attack him etc. GG. Mass zlots and DTs OWN! just like cracklings!
Actually, the protoss often loses cos you can tend to get lazy cos toss are strong while the challenge of playing terran usually motivates him so.. uh if you want to win, just don't be lazy and keep making stuff and pressuring him.. You have to out resource him by quite a lot, because his troops are more cost effective than yours.. you will send endless streams of zlots and dragoons to their death, but you will eventually wear him out...
An easier way to winning this is making carriers(gay), but be sure to hide them well, and you must delay or breakup any terran offensive b4 you suprise him with a nice number of carriers.(dont forget obs for wraiths)
